Plastic Surgeon in Norwich

Elaine Sassoon is an internationally known Plastic Surgeon, highly experienced in both reconstructive, aesthetic plastic surgery and non-surgical procedures. She now works exclusively at Spire Norwich Hospital and concentrates on a limited range of surgical and non surgical procedures.  She also is on the Board of BAAPS Support (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) and advises on medical device regulation, risk and safety issues.

She concentrated for years on developing and popularising a variety of breast reconstruction procedures and changing the landscape for breast reconstruction following cancer.  She wrote the book “The Boudica Within’, to highlight the range of operations available and give a voice to the patients.  Many of her patients were also featured in an exhibition at the House of Commons by Keeping Abreast, a Norfolk based charity for those undergoing breast reconstruction.

Elaine also appeared on ‘Botched Bodies UK’ on Channel 5, correcting the problems caused through cheap plastic surgery operations, as the health tourism industry attracts those seeking surgeries abroad.

She now limits herself to salvage corrections of breast reconstructions, and a limited number of cosmetic operations on the breast, body and skin as well as non surgical procedures for rejuvenation.
